Yeah, I'm bored (but extremely busy, and will be so until I head out for Nevada in TWENTY-EIGHT DAYS YEEK! YEEK!) so here is my Friday Five, nicked from
piratepantsnana:
1) Of everything in your wardrobe what do you feel the most comfortable wearing? Why?
Black short-sleeved shirt, made of Lithuanian linen. Very comfortable and big on me.
2) How would you describe your style?
Black. Pockets.
3) How many pairs of shoes do you own and do you wear them all?
5 pairs boots, all black: 6-hole Doc Martens, 10-hole Doc Martens, 12-hole Corcoran jump boots, RCMP issue ankle boots, canvas jungle boots.
4 pairs shoes: black leather Reebok walking shoes, beige canvas deck shoes, dark blue canvas sneakers, black brogues I have not worn in years.
4) Where do you buy most of your clothes?
Value Village.
5) What was the last piece of clothing you bought?
Two green Army T-shirts from Value Village.
Last night I spent basting the inner and outer edges of the green parachute that forms the roof of the shade structure pictured in the previous entry, then hemming the inner edge, just as extra insurance against the wind ripping it to shreds. And I taught Aki how to tie some knots - sheet bend, bowline, and clove hitch. Those three and the bow knot (to do up your shoes) will serve anyone well.
