Casting Call

Well, I am working in the evenings making new shiny cast thingies for Burning Man schwag. I am producing about ten varieties this year, eight from last year:

- three little weird humanoid shapes modelled by Akito
- two sizes of the Man
- two little square ones, of a bomber and a sun
- The Order of the Giant Robot

and two new ones, one of the Man but larger (2") and better made, and one of the Einsturzende Neubauten man (about 1.5" high). Both of these are coming out really well. Lancelot asked me to make up a mold for him of a skeleton wearing a kilt! I'll give it a try.

So far I have about 65 castings. I need to make at least as many more and would prefer to get them done before I go, but as I am leaving in SIX FREAKING DAYS I don't think that's going to happen. But I will be taking all my casting stuff down with me.

I really ought to wear a mask when casting these things up, though. Symptoms of lead poisoning in adults ( include )
