Yeah, I live across the water from Vancouver, and they get all kinds of shows and performances (though performers who come to Canada are more likely to pick Toronto and Montreal, both cities of 3 million plus). But it's expensive to get there, and during the time of the Olympics there-are-no-hotel-rooms-at-all, they were all booked two years ago by VANOC. And my only friend who lives in Vancouver is in Hong Kong right now.
