Damn! I really don't get out much. My sad, short little list goes like this:
1. Platinum Blonde (at Expo 86!!) 1b. Boys Don't Cry (one hit wonders -- I Wanna Be A Cowboy -- who opened for Platinum Blonde above) 2. Gowan (Royal Theatre) 3. Billy Joel (Vancouver Colliseum) 4. Depeche Mode (Vancouver Colliseum) 5. Bob Dylan (can't remember who opened for Dylan -- a woman I think? The concert was at the old Memorial Arena and I think the opening act performed as long a set as Dylan) 6. Moxy Fruvous (Harpo's) 7. Doug and the Slugs (maybe the Forge?)
There must be others (I know there are a host of smaller local bands whose names escape me right now) but these are the only ones I remember...
