I thought this was cute:

And this was Just Odd, but I think I read aobut this kink in a Savage Love column once. But why would the reporter conclude by saying that the women reported no injuries? Maybe in case one of them stubbed her toe on its way to the guy's lungs, the hard way?

I saw this news item, too. I don't understand why it's a police matter.

It's a police matter because the women reported it. Therefore they had to investigate.

If you talk to ordinary cops, you soon realize that a large part of their day is spent on stupid shit like this, or doing paperwork relating to it, or appearing in court to talk about what happened later (e.g. when they tried to find the guy).

I guess what I meant to say was, why would anybody make these incidents a police matter?

"Hello, 911? Like, this really creepy dude, like, just asked me to kick him in the nuts, probably because he likes it. I said, eww, gross, no way, so he walked away! Like, someone go arrest him! I hate when strangers ask me to do weird things."

Yes, that's exactly what I was wondering, and yes, I'll bet you the 911 call was exactly like that.

My mom was a dispatcher for Victoria City Police for 14 years (and was married to a Mountie for 25), so she's heard it all....
