Snappity Snap Snap.
I wish my life had some kind of Maxwell's Demon that could put all the good stuff in one place and the bad in another.
I'm gonna watch Jacob's Ladder now. That'll fuck up my mood righteously.

A Bureaucracy at Rest is Stable and Tends to Stay at Rest
Lt. Murnau is asking for his life to become completely unchaotic (the physicists may have an equally undescriptive word for this state, but I don't know it) with all the good, clear, fresh and pure stuff in one container, and all the dark blue heavy bad stuff in another.
Lt. Murnau's Dilemma is similar in effect to Zeno's Paradox, and will therefore be just as effective.
Leave him in peace as he grapples with this fundamental issue.
