Done because
piratepantsnana posted this in the middle of a pillow fight, and told me to return the favour.

Leave your name and
1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you. Answer the question in a comment.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. You MUST. It is written!

Date: 2005-09-29 06:05 pm (UTC)There are so many reasons. I will try not to make a Russian novel out of it, for which I will blame not citing. I became vegetarian for animal rights, but also because it does not use as many resources (land, oil, water, plant matter) which has benefits for the enviroment and humans in need. Veganism is the next step in that since the dairy/egg industry is just a branch of the meat industry. I also was becoming increasingly lactose intolerant, and the more I read about how unnatural and unhealthy dairy is for adults, the less I wanted it in my body. Stomach pains does help with that, I will admit. I just got to a point where I could not do it anymore.
I keep thinking about #4 since I have the same prof and he is just as hilarious.

#4: you told me that story - I never had that professor.

Date: 2005-09-29 09:43 pm (UTC)I know you have not had him. He is pretty new. But I have him again, and like to reminisce about old Pollardisms. Like when he accidentally said "sable rattling Prussians" instead of "sabre rattling Prussian" and then followed it up with, "Oh yeah! Shake that mink!"
